Carbon offsets are better than nothing. Corporations which commit to offsetting will find it hard to back off, once they start.
The risk is that carbon offsets just create an atmosphere of passivity in most consumers. I guess I just have faith in humanity...

How about corporations actually doing something to reduce their emissions rather than just buying get out of jail/"bad pr" cards!

Let's get back to CSR. And my two cents, I find that carbon offsets, while not upsetting can be distracting.
